At LFP Asset Management, we may use Zoom’s AI Companion during certain meetings and telephone calls to assist with accurate note taking and preparation of meeting summaries.
What is Zoom AI Companion?
Zoom AI Companion is a feature within Zoom that can generate transcripts and meeting summaries by processing parts of a conversation using Zoom’s AI systems and, where applicable, contracted technology providers.
The purpose of using AI Companion is to help improve the accuracy and efficiency of meeting records and to support a high standard of client service.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
The AI is not used to train public AI models.
Data may, where necessary, be transferred outside the UK/EU with appropriate safeguards applied by Zoom.
Any records retained by LFP Asset Management will be stored securely on your client file and deleted from Zoom when no longer required.
To help protect confidentiality, we avoid discussing highly sensitive information such as full account numbers or passwords during recorded discussions wherever possible. If necessary, these can be handled separately and securely.
Accuracy of Transcripts and Summaries
AI-generated transcripts and summaries may occasionally contain errors or omissions.
Any transcript or summary used by LFP Asset Management may therefore be reviewed and amended where appropriate before being retained on file or shared with clients.
Your Choice
The use of Zoom AI Companion is entirely optional.
If you would prefer not to use Zoom AI Companion during a meeting or telephone call, please let us know. The feature can also be paused or disabled at any time during a discussion.
